Peanut Butter Pup Snacks 🐾
Bear & Sweetie
2 cups flour
1/2 cup peanut butter (mutts-be xylitol-free!)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup applesauce or 1 mashed banana
Preheat your oven to 350°F
Blend peanut butter with your chosen wet ingredient (applesauce or banana), then combine into the dry mix (Flour & cinnamon)
Knead the mixture into a doughy ball. Too sticky? Add a sprinkle of flour—no pup wants a sticky paw situation. To wet? Add flour. Too Dry? Add water.
Roll tablespoon-sized balls of dough, flatten them with a fork (to make snapping in half easy, peasy puppy treat-squeezy),
-OR- roll the dough out on a floured surface use a bone-shaped cookie cutter for maximum bark appeal.
Bake for 8 minutes, flip, then bake for another 8—or until they’re golden and delicious, just like your pupper deserves! Keep the timing flexible for hard or soft treats (a dog’s gotta have options).
Cool and your pups will think you’re paws-itively the best! Bone appétit! 🐕
